Our Purpose Statement: |
The purpose of Campton Baptist Church shall be the advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. This church shall seek to attain this end through the public worship of God, the preaching of the Gospel of Christ, consistent Christian living by its members, personal evangelism, missionary endeavors, and Christian education. |
Our Mission Statement: |
We, the faithful community of Campton Baptist Church, are committed to Jesus Christ and His Church. Our mission is to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul, live the gospel, share the Good News, and minister to others in our congregation, community, and in all God's world. |
We are a member of the American Baptist Churches of Vermont and New Hampshire, a chapter of the American Baptist Churches of the United States. The church was founded in 1811 and built in 1826. The baptismal, which features the splendid work of the accomplished artist Herbert Waters, was added in 1954 and Pastor Bolster was one of the first to be baptized there when his father was the pastor of Campton Baptist Church!
